VIPKID Payment Incentives

I’m sure many of you have heard about VIPKID and are doing some research on the program to see what it will be like and what type of pay is involved. Well I am here to say, that not only is the pay fairly decent, but VIPKID also offers payment incentives to help you get a little extra money for the classes you teach.

Let’s discuss the pay scale and the incentives that will help boost your earnings.

VIPKID Payment Incentives Are Worth the Effort!

So I’ve already discussed a lot about VIPKID pay, but here is a short summary in case you don’t know what the pay is yet.

Pay for VIPKID starts out at $7 – $9 per class, depending on your previous teaching experience and how well you do during the interview and mock class.

Classes run 25 minutes long, so you start with $14 to $18 per hour.

VIPKID payment incentives supplement this base pay by completing some easy tasks that help out your business anyways.

The Punctuality Payment Incentive

VIPKID will give you an extra $1 per class if you are on time.

This adds up to $2 extra per hour since you can fit 2 classes into an hour’s time.

This is a nice little bonus. Anyone out there in the work world would be thrilled to earn an extra $2 per hour for showing up to work on time.

Not only is it good to show up on time for your bonus, but it’s just good practice for you as a teacher anyways.

If you show up on time, you aren’t wasting kids’ and parents’ time, and you look more professional.

If you look more professional to the parents, they are more likely to book you for more VIPKID classes with their kids.

The Number of Classes Payment Incentive

This payment incentive is a little harder to earn, especially when you are just starting out teaching on VIPKID.

With this incentive, you get an extra $1 per class for teaching 45 or more classes in any given month.

If you are trying for full-time pay and are opening every slot that you can, this probably shouldn’t be a hard goal to hit. It may be a little harder at first when you are building up a client base, but gets easier as you get regulars booking you 2 or 3 times per week.

This payment incentive is another nice little $2 bonus per hour.
