I was also looking into their privacy policy and see that only their few employees and some 3rd party vendors have access to your information. They state that every employee has passed a criminal background and sex offender check. It doesn't expressly say that they won't sell your information to 3rd parties, but it doesn't say that they will or reserve the right to either. It seems like they are going for security and whatnot with your information.

I hope you are around for the long haul! This is such a cool concept, and I can't wait to see where it is headed!

Hey Summer,
I looked around the site a little more than I had previously, and you are right. The site does seem to be lacking some functionality and is a little confusing to navigate. I've decided to create a new account and give it a test run from fresh eyes so I can deliver a report on what I find out about using the site and signing up!

I just checked out the Qeepsake website and found it extremely disappointing. As the initial *salesperson* for the product, their site falls short. You can’t see any costs or a complete list of features, and even to give as a gift, the description of features says “and way more” without actually defining what I would be getting for my money. There is no FAQ section, no real information on the features to be found. Not even examples of the question set. Perhaps if I sign up I’d have access to more information but that isn’t a fair trade in my opinion. So I’m opting not to sign up on the off chance that my questions get answered. They get my contact info to *potentially* sell to a third party to spam me through and I could wind up with no real info on the product after I gain access anyway. I wish their website was better - I like the idea of the product, but without further info, I can’t justify going beyond their uninformative home page to *maybe* make a purchase. With online shopping being the way of the future, Qeepsake will need to do a lot better with providing information on their product to generate sales.

Hi Heather! Jeff McNeil from Qeepsake here. While we did turn down an offer from the Sharks on ABC's Shark Tank, we've since raised a sizable round of investment from other (non-Shark) investors who are an awesome fit for us. Qeepsake is on great financial footing and we take our responsibility of housing parents' most precious memories for the long haul very seriously.

Looked at the site a little bit. Seems like a neat product. Would maybe be nice to see a little product demo so we could see what the behind-the-scenes of the product looked like.

It's hard to say. They just turned down an offer from the Sharks on Shark Tank, but they did want 20% of the business. This makes me think that they have a plan for growth. Either way, you can get your book printed out, so you won't have to rely on the online diary being there forever.

Maybe have a look at genforward.org

IT's a complete family legacy builder which also contains the ability to build annotated photo albums. This can be done on desktop or mobile and the whole thing even works with cell phone built in voice recognition.

Right now, it's actually a free service as well
